Hey there Gate Masters! I hope you are all well. Speedrobo here coming at you with some surprise news. We’re a small team at a small company here at Speedrobo Games. As such, we have to experiment a lot and listen to player feedback to help improve our game and our products. Booster set 4’s new product design was an experiment to see how folks would respond to small sets of cards at lower prices. Let’s just say, you have been heard! So, I’ve been planning to revise the products released during the game’s first year (BT01, BT02, and BT03) to fit this new model.

I just finished revising Booster Set 1 Dragon’s Dawn and I’m really happy with the results. There were enough cards in there for three whole boxes! Yeah, we really crammed as much as we could into set 1! Now it’s a lot easier to just pick up the pieces you need. Check out the new boxes in the shop!

I’ll be working on getting the other sets ready to go when I can. I’ve got a lot of other responsibilities on my plate, so they will be ready when I have the time. Thanks for understanding!

We’re really excited to announce that production on System Gate is ahead of schedule. As such, we will be releasing the game’s third trial deck! As with the other trial decks, the contents of the deck will be mostly new and exclusive cards! Only one reprint from BT05 will be included at a total of 2 copies. All new cards in TD03 will be included at 4 copies.

The featured planet in this product is Mars! This deck is meant to be a companion piece to BT05 and instantly give Mars a great jumping off point to compete in the current meta.

Trial deck 03: Phobos Factory will be released alongside BT05 on August 30th, 2022.

In Tag Team Format, players will form teams of 2 and battle it out! The new rules have been added to the Comprehensive Rules, so check them out! Don’t forget the first rule of games, have fun!

Hi there Gate Masters! We’ve been hard at work preparing for the final half of 2022. We’ve got a lot of news and changes that I am personally very excited for.

First off, we’ve got out fifth expansion getting released on August 30th. This booster set introduces the FINAL planet, Mars! With this last introduction, System Gate will enter a period of seeing no new planets. From the point of Iron Assault forward, the existing planets will be seeing new support and new archetypes. To this end, everyone at Speedrobo Games is buckling down to make sure that the BT05 meta is the most balanced, diverse, and competitive meta the game has seen yet.

In order to achieve this balance, we are releasing a wave of new tournament kits! Tournament Kit 7, 8, and 9 will be featuring all new promotional cards designed as “Emergency Support”. The design philosophy to these cards is to plug up support holes in planets that are missing crucial pieces. These cards won’t necessarily be featuring explosive new effects, or brand new boss cards. They exist to provide staple options to planets that lack them. The tournament kit cards are a way to get this support early and in foil. If you miss out on a tournament kit, you will be able to get the featured cards in future products.

Another note that I want players to be aware of is that the System Gate judges and I are bouncing around the idea of a ban list update on July first. There may be a change, or there may not be. I just don’t want this to come off as a surprise, so I’m letting y’all know about this consideration now.

The final exciting announcement we have is for our December product. The I.E. Guyer collection will feature classic cards from System Gate lore, tournament scene, and of course fan favorite art from I.E. Guyer. This product is a celebration of everything this fantastic story teller has contributed to System Gate. Many of the cards in this collection will be featuring new artwork drawn by I.E. Guyer.

Hey there Gate Commanders! With the release of Set 4, the Comprehensive rules and Q&A have both been updated to cover the new cards and interactions present in Booster Set 4. Both Saturn and Jupiter provide whole news ways to play the game and interact with the Set and Item Zones in ways never before seen. While fun, it does raise a few new questions.
