Great news, card folk! We now have our very own, browser based, TOURNAMENT SOFTWARE! Built straight into this website!
You’ll notice the new “Play Network – BETA” option in your menu now. Give it a click and enjoy!
We have:
User created tournaments for all of our games.
A system where one of our staff can approve your tournament as an official event, thus giving all participants points and badges! (Just contact us if you want your events approved. Generally we only approve official game store partner events)
Leaderboards! For rankings across all games and individual games.
A new profile and login system that totally overhauls our previous one. You can now even just authenticate in one click using Google! There’s fun profile pictures for you to use as well and we will be adding more over time.
All kinds of tournament formats for each game, a round timer, multiple ways for organizers to add users to their events, the ability for users to submit their own match results, AND SO MUCH MORE!
Please keep in mind that this is all brand new and possibly prone to some bugs here and there. Let us know if you bump into any issues and we will get them ironed out. We made this all in house, so it should be pretty easy for us to get into there and patch up any mistakes we made.
We hope to add deck builder features down the line, but that’s a future us problem. Right now we want to make sure that we have a solid and working foundation before rushing out more features. So let us know how the tournaments work for you! Thanks!
