Hello my wonderful Visionaries! I have some exciting news for you all.
AcyFaust and I have received much love and feedback on our first print run for Splatterkins. Going forward, there will be a few updates.
Firstly, all tokens in all products will now come in little baggies for storage and holding outside of their boxes. This means that if you want to take your Inspiration and Paint Drop Tokens with you to game night, you can simply carry them in their included bag.
Secondly, the Booster Box has been noted as being a little soft. Therefore, a reinforcement sheet will be added to the bottom of each box. This sheet will be removable and will come printed with a Splatterkins coloring page on it! Collect all 5 designs!
Third, our booster packs have been noted as feeling both a little thick and are on the cheap side when it comes to presentation. To try to address this, we will be switching to a thinner material that we can better cut to form. However, the packs themselves will now have a stronger smell of the ink used to print them. Please let us know which you prefer for us to use going forward.
Finally, Acy is working on new card borders! These borders will help with our centering issues and make the off center cards less noticeable by having the paint effects extend all the way to the edge of the bleed area. These new borders will be going live with the release of Booster Set 2. When it comes to the centering problems, I want to personally state that I hear and understand your disappointment with it. It is something that we will continue to work on as we move into Booster Set 2. At this time, there will still be a high rate of off center cuts. This is sadly the nature of the beast when it comes to our small batch print runs. I thank you all for your kind understanding in these matters and continued support of AcyFaust and her fantastic game.
Please be patient on the roll out for these changes as we will need to sell through our current stock of boosters and decks. Consider these adjustments to primarily be targeted for implementation in our 2025 products.
We will have much more news about Splatterkins after the Holidays. Including new promos, new products, and new tournaments as we head into 2025.
