Normally I like and want to do these big news announcements as a video. This time will have to be via text. We at Speedrobo Games are all hands on deck this holiday season as we have a ton of exciting games and events lined up for you to enjoy.
Let’s dive right in!
System Gate’s Golden Legacy set is official on store shelves! This set concludes our 10th Anniversary story line with Legacy’s Allure, so make sure you grab yourself a box. What foils will you pull?
Next in System Gate news, it is time to show off our newest card! This will be our Halloween promo!
This spooky gal comes straight from Caleb Nelson’s Necromansters with both love and blessing. Her effect is even very similar to what you’ll be able to use in her home game 😉
Speaking of our friend Caleb, let’s see what’s going on over in the land of the unliving!
We’re currently waiting to get the physical samples back from our printing partners and it’s taken a little longer than expected. If delays persist, we may have to push back our expected release day from December 1st 2024 to December 15th 2024. I’ll keep my ears to the ground on this on and let y’all know if the delay is needed. I won’t be posting this as an update on Kickstarter just yet, as I am not 100% sure the delay will happen. Thank you for your kind understanding.
In more fun news, progress on the artwork for the Team Deck and Expansion are proceeding very nicely. Have a look for yourself!
Necromansters NOIR also just wrapped up and all prizes have been shipped. If you are owed a prize from NOIR and don’t get it within the next week, let me know. I’ll see what I can do to get you squared up. Thanks!
Next, let’s talk about our company’s upcoming convention appearance at EFFING-CON!
We will be demoing System Gate, Necromansters, and Illyriad Empires at Effing-Con. BUT MORE THAN THAT!
We will be LAUNCHING our Kickstarter at Effing-Con! Come join us for a chance to be the first to back this one of a kind strategy board game!
Now for what’s easily our biggest news (I always like to save the coolest for last XD); Speedrobo Games has officially partnered with AcyFaust! We will be bringing two card games from this talented artist and developer to life as her publishing company!
The first game is Splatterkins!
I am personally quite excited to be welcoming this family friendly game to our family! Splatterkins will have it’s official release this winter and will be using our proprietary Customizable Card Game business model! This means you’ll be able to pick up your collection of Splatterkins cards by simply purchasing a single copy of the Starter Sets, Theme Decks, and Booster Sets. The only rarities will be cosmetic and will not affect gameplay! You’ll be able to see much more of how this will work as me move forward!
I am acutely aware that Splatterkins has a dedicated player base already. I do not want to step on any of your toes. I strongly encourage everyone in the Splatterkins fan base to reach out to me on the Splatterkins discord (speedrobo) or send me an email ([email protected]). Tell me everything and anything. Tell me what you want to see, tell me what you want me to make sure gets done, tell me what your favorite Splatterkin is! I am here to listen to you, to make sure cards get in your hands, and to make sure that you can enjoy playing this great game. Giving me feedback just helps me do that.
One thing that I can promise you is that there WILL NOT be any Kickstarters for Splatterkins. Instead, Speedrobo Games is dedicated to getting products done and in your hands as quickly as possible. We will simply print the cards and sell you the cards. No nonsense.
While we do not have a solid release day planned for the official release of Splatterkins, Acy and I are shooting for Christmas 2024. We will be updating you as the date gets finalized. Thank you for your kind understanding.
As this project moves forward, more information will be added to Speedrobo Games website. Including an organized play network. Please stay tuned for more details!
For the launch line up of Splatterkins, many of the cards will be familiar from the previous decks and expansions that were released. Once the initial cards get into a position where they are readily available for new fans and players, Acy and I will start work on all new cards for everyone to enjoy!
I think that’s everything I wanted to say in regards to Splatterkins right now. We are still in the early days of this partnership, but I wanted to make sure everyone was kept up to date on it. I know the fans of Splatterkins have been waiting for more to materialize. I can assure every single one of your that bespoke card games is my company’s specialty and wheelhouse. We’ve got you covered!
