Entertainment Commissioner’s office:
“Commissioner! You need to see this report for the survey bureau!” the head secretary shouts as she squirms through the office door.
The Entertainment Commissioner snatches up the tablet the second it slides onto his desk with a wet slap.
“About the Sol System? Isn’t that right next to the Alpha Centauri Empire’s capital? I don’t think they’ll just let us slop in there and start filming.” The commissioner continues to read.
“Unable to colonize you say? Lost all footholds?”
“And the Sol System’s entire culture is built around…”
The secretary cut him off “based completely around a game, yes”
“So culturally they’re comparable with us, militarily they are able to fight off our main rivals, and economically they have access to 9 whole planets.”
The commissioner puts down the report.
“Call the talent acquisitions department. Get some of our previous Junk World contestants on a ship for Sol at once. We’re filming an exhibition match.”
